MeridiaImmigration Law

Home / About

A firm built by people who have stood in the same lines

Meridia was founded to give immigrants the kind of patient, honest counsel our own families once needed.

A world map carved into a wooden wall

Our story

Valeria Montes opened Meridia in a two-room office in 2011, after watching friends lose years to avoidable mistakes on their applications. Today we’re a team of fourteen, still small enough that every client knows their attorney by name.

We believe immigration law should be explained, not just filed. That means plain language, honest timelines and fees you know before you start.

What we stand for

Dignity first

Every client is treated with respect, whatever their status or history.

Honesty about odds

We tell you when a pathway is weak, even if that means advising you to wait.

Giving back

Ten percent of our attorney hours go to pro bono humanitarian cases.

We’d be glad to meet you.
